Day Three and Hunger Pains
Monday, 22 June 2009 18:00
I have actually lost two pounds. That’s good! That is very encouraging.
My day went pretty much like the last two; however, I am hungry today - physically hungry with my stomach rumbling. I’m trying to look at the noise as an enthusiastic crowd reminding me that with each rumble I’m burning fat – so, RUMBLE ON!
I do know, as well, that I am going to have to find some other things to eat besides chicken. This could get mind-numbing really fast. I am going to try a little tilapia baked with garlic this evening and see if that perks up my palette. I also found a couple of recipe ideas online that I will try over the next few days.
I am still relying very heavily on my Sonic cups of water throughout the day. I don’t leave my office or my home without it. I also had a little headache that I took two ibuprofen in order to vanquish. I’m certain that removing the sugars and carbs from my diet is causing a little detox issues to happen in my body. I know that once I get the sugars out, I will feel better and the hunger will subside. Forge ahead!
I also cancelled my tennis lesson for this evening which I really hated. The diet says that you are not to do much more than a 1/2 mile of walking and an hour of tennis is WAY more calories expensed than that. I\'m not concerned about the extra calories being burned as I am falling down in a heap on the court because I don\'t have enough energy. I\'m going to talk to the super diet team at Advanced Aesthetics and see if they have any input on this one. I really enjoy my tennis lesson. There is nothing quite so satisfying as whacking that fuzzy yellow ball!
Did I mention I was hungry?
