Day 5 and 6

It seems I have a little catch-up to play here. Day 5 went just fine. I even found a quick little recipe for my beloved apple that proved to be quite a treat. I sliced the apple into small sections, sprinkled it with cinnamon and one packet of Truvia and microwaved it for about 1.15 minutes. It turns into a yummy apple pie-like snack. It was a nice change and satisfied that end of the day need for something sweet.
I did not, however, drink as much water on day 5 as I have in the past couple of days. I found myself in and out of the car on appointments with clients and not focusing on drinking from my Sonic cup as often. I have a feeling that will register on the scale some as that water is essential to moving all the excess baggage out of my body. On top of that, I did feel quite parched by the end of the day. With 104 degree temperatures, now is not the time to be slacking on the H2O intake!
Day 6 arrived and I am headed to the Advanced Aesthetics office for my first weekly weigh-in! I'm excited to see if their scale registers the same loss as mine did this morning - 5 pounds. Admittedly, my scale is crummy but I have found it to be close to my doctor's scale in the past. I'm hopeful but still wondering if my water shortage yesterday will have an impact.
