June 24 and 25
It seems I have a little catch-up to play here. Day 5 went just fine. I even found a quick little recipe for my beloved apple that proved to be quite a treat. I sliced the apple into small sections, sprinkled it with cinnamon and one packet of Truvia and microwaved it for about 1.15 minutes. It turns into a yummy apple pie-like snack. It was a nice change and satisfied that end of the day need for something sweet.
Day 4 and 4 Pounds Gone!

This morning I stepped on the scale and found that four whole pounds were gone! In just 4 days of dieting. That is fabulous and fascinating. I even woke up this morning with much more energy than I have in months. I find that equally fascinating as one would think fewer calories would make you less energetic. Apparently, that is not the case.
Day Three and Hunger Pains

I have actually lost two pounds. That’s good! That is very encouraging.
My day went pretty much like the last two; however, I am hungry today - physically hungry with my stomach rumbling. I’m trying to look at the noise as an enthusiastic crowd reminding me that with each rumble I’m burning fat – so, RUMBLE ON!
Day Two

I got up at 6 am and took my HCG drop as I was making coffee and unloading the dishwasher . I headed to the laundry room to fold a load of clothes. I then had coffee, one Tablespoon of milk and a packet of Stevia. I had an early morning meeting so I jumped directly into the shower, got dressed and headed out the door. I had to run back in and get my chicken breast and fruit.
Day 1

I am starting the HCG diet with a gain of an additional 2 lbs from loading – that sucks. I’m sticking with the promise that it will come off easily. I got up at 6 am and took my HCG drop as I was making coffee and unloading the dishwasher – my morning routine. As I am required to wait 10 minutes before eating of drinking anything, I headed to the laundry room to fold a load of clothes. I then had coffee, one Tablespoon of milk and a packet of Stevia. I am not thinking about my usual bowl of cereal and I head back to the laundry room to move the clothes and add another load to the washer – hey, if nothing else, I’ll get a ton more housework done!

I am approaching this day with a little better strategy – high fat foods but not as many. I plan to again find a fried food or two but not as often.

I have actually waited a few days to begin the 2 day loading period. I wanted to have the HCG low calorie day begin on a Sunday so that I could have a little more control on my schedule and any hunger issues that might cause me to yell at people! Since you can usually get a little more forgiveness from your family, I am going to make certain they are my first “victims”. I am hoping that will not really be a problem.
